Within only 60 years of space-meddling, some would call it exploring, humans have created a dangerously huge rubbish dump in space. Brings to my mind Stephen Hawkins’ comments about how if we keep sending signals out into space we might attract the attention hostile aliens. (I am getting WE are the hostile aliens). But then someone else said, well actually they probably know very well that we are here -but they are just avoiding answering the signals – much the way you might hide behind the sofa when someone you don’t want to see knocks at the front door. In Saudi Arabia witchcraft is punishable by death, however it is not well known that on very difficult crime cases the Police there will sometimes consult a person versed in magic who can converse with the djinn. For example there was a murder and the djinn told them who did it and they were then able to get the confession and retrieve the body. That picture above of the blue boy is baby Krishna with his mum Mother Yasoda. One story about them I always loved, and only understood the profound meaning of after I had my own child. Krishna as a baby is outside playing and he started eating dirt from the earth so Yasoda makes him opn his mouth so she can see inside and get the dirt out. As the baby opens his mouth she is amazed to see the entire universe inside. Not only that but she also sees herself looking inside Baby Krishna’s mouth.
This story reminds me how love for ones child knows no bounds, and how that tiny little thing becomes the centre of the entire universe for the devoted parent. And how the cycle is endless, and from big to smaller is like a fractal of love.
