GRAHAM HANCOCK : ‘Magicians of the Gods’, snapshots of a work in progress

It is imperative that we should always question the things we think we’ve got right about the world, and follow up on anomalies and glimpses of other possibilities.

Some skeptics say that alternative speakers such as Graham Hancock are dangerous, because they’re spreading misinformation.

Others say they were originally inspired to study history and archaeology by reading Fingerprints of the Gods, before disavowing the work once inducted into academic archaeological circles.

He covers so much controversial ground in his talks – religion, psychedelics, UFOs, lost civilisations and so on – that it would be a wonder if anybody in the audience agreed with him on everything.

Orthodox archaeology laughed at Graham Hancock.

In 2016 Graham Hancock will bring out his new book, ‘Magicians of the Gods’, the sequel to his worldwide bestseller ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’. In this lecture, recorded in March 2014 for Alternatives London at Saint James’s Church in Piccadilly, he reviews his past work and shares some of the research for the new book.
